Build Your Dream Ring
Your ring does not have to begin with someone else's idea. Start with the gemstone, shape, metal, setting, colors and details you actually love, and Kherish will create a custom design around you.
Whether you are imagining an alternative engagement ring, a fantasy-inspired bridal set, a meaningful promise ring, a nature-inspired design or something that does not exist yet, custom allows you to stop searching for “almost right.”
Start Your Custom Design See How It WorksBecause “Close Enough” Is a Terrible Way to Choose a Meaningful Ring
Sometimes you love the stone from one ring, the band from another, the metal color from a third and the setting from something you cannot even find for sale. That is exactly where custom design begins.
Instead of forcing yourself to choose from a finished catalog, a custom ring allows those ideas to become one cohesive piece. You decide what matters and Kherish helps turn that direction into a ring that actually makes sense together.
Custom can also be much simpler than creating something from nothing. If you already love a Kherish ring but want another gemstone, a different metal, a matching wedding band or a changed detail, that can become the starting point.
Custom does not have to mean bigger, louder or more expensive.
It means intentional. The goal is to build the right ring around your priorities, whether that means an elaborate fantasy set or a beautifully simple solitaire.

From Inspiration to Finished Ring
You do not need to understand jewelry construction before contacting us. Bring the idea. We guide the rest.
Tell Us What You Love
Share inspiration photos, favorite Kherish designs, gemstone ideas, colors, metal preference, ring size, occasion and budget.
We Build the Direction
The ideas are translated into a cohesive design with appropriate proportions, gemstone placement, setting style and materials.
Review & Approve
You review the design direction before production begins. Changes are addressed before the ring moves into crafting.
Your Ring Is Created
Once approved and paid, the required materials are sourced and the custom piece moves into production.
Inspect & Deliver
The finished piece is inspected, polished, packaged and shipped with tracking when it is ready.
See the Idea Take Shape
Custom jewelry begins with design decisions: proportion, symmetry, gemstone placement, color, band shape and how each element relates to the others. These Kherish design concepts show how dramatically a piece can change when those choices change.
What Can You Customize?
Nearly every visual decision starts with your preferences and the practical requirements of the finished design.
Start With Color
Moss Agate, Moissanite, Alexandrite, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, Aquamarine, Morganite, Moonstone, Garnet, Black Onyx, Opal, Quartz and other available gemstone directions.
Change the Silhouette
Oval, pear, marquise, round, emerald cut, cushion, kite, hexagon, coffin and other shapes can completely change the character of the same setting idea.
Choose the Foundation
Sterling Silver, Gold Vermeil, Rose Gold Vermeil, Black Gold and solid-gold directions can be discussed according to the design and budget.
Decide the Personality
Solitaire, halo, vintage inspired, Gothic, botanical, fantasy, geometric, nature inspired, minimal or a completely new combination.
Build the Color Story
Accent stones can match the center, add contrast, introduce another meaningful color or create additional sparkle.
Design the Set Together
Add a curved, chevron, crown, open or fitted companion band so the wedding set works as one complete design.
Design for the Wearer
Custom is an opportunity to address sizing needs instead of restricting the design to a small ready-made size range.
Make It Personal
Leaves, texture, engraving direction, symmetry, dark accents, delicate details or statement proportions can all influence the finished result.
Start With Something You Already Love
A current Kherish design can provide the starting point and be reinterpreted through another stone, metal, band style or coordinated set.
Know the Direction Before You Commit
Custom jewelry is priced according to the gemstone, metal, complexity, construction and design requirements. You receive pricing before production begins.
A lower-entry custom direction for designs suited to Sterling Silver, Gold Vermeil or Rose Gold Vermeil construction.
For dark, Gothic and alternative custom directions where Black Gold is suitable for the design.
Solid-gold and more complex fine-jewelry commissions are priced according to the exact material, gemstone and construction requirements.
Starting prices are a guide, not a quote. Your final price is based on the actual ring you request. Nothing moves into production until the design direction and cost are established.
Plan for Approximately Six Weeks
Custom rings do not follow the same production schedule as Kherish made-to-order catalog pieces. Materials may need to be sourced specifically for your design, the design must be approved, and the piece is created to your specifications.
A good planning window is approximately six weeks. The exact timeline depends on design complexity, gemstone sourcing and the current custom queue and is confirmed with your commission.
If the ring is needed for a proposal, wedding, anniversary or another fixed date, include that date in your request before the design process begins.
Custom is not the right choice for a last-minute order.
Giving the process enough time allows the design, sourcing, production and final inspection to happen properly instead of rushing a piece that is meant to be kept.
Custom Jewelry for People Who Were Never Looking for Ordinary
Kherish already works across alternative gemstones, fantasy silhouettes, nature-inspired jewelry, dark metals, unusual ring sets and nontraditional engagement styles. Custom design extends that same approach beyond the existing catalog.
Not Mass-Market Jewelry
Custom is built around the wearer's preferences rather than trying to force a personal story into a generic design.
Carefully Selected Suppliers
Gemstones and materials are sourced through suppliers selected with ethics, quality and responsible practices in mind.
Color Is Welcome Here
Moss Agate, Opal, Alexandrite, Sapphire, Garnet, Emerald, Onyx and other distinctive stones are not treated as second choices.
See the Direction First
Your custom direction is reviewed before production, so the finished piece is not a surprise interpretation of something you never approved.
More Than Traditional Bridal
Floral, woodland, Gothic, celestial, vintage and fantasy references can become part of an elegant wearable piece.
Design Around Priorities
Tell us the budget at the beginning so gemstone, metal and construction decisions can be planned realistically.
Build Both Rings Together
Engagement rings and companion bands can be designed as one visual composition instead of trying to find a wedding band afterward.
Meaning Without Cliché
Meaning can come from color, shape, stone, symbolism or a private detail rather than copying a traditional formula.
Tell Us What You Are Imagining
You do not need every detail figured out. Give us what you know, tell us what matters most, and include enough information for us to understand the direction you want.
Before You Start
How much does a custom Kherish ring cost?
Pricing depends on the gemstone, metal, complexity and construction. Current custom directions begin around $295 for select Sterling Silver, Vermeil and Black Gold designs. More complex pieces and solid-gold commissions are individually quoted.
How long does a custom ring take?
Plan on approximately six weeks for a custom commission. Exact timing depends on design complexity, material sourcing and the current production queue and is confirmed with your project.
Can you change an existing Kherish ring?
Yes. A Kherish design can be used as the starting point for a custom direction, including changes to gemstone, metal, companion band or other approved design elements.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before contacting you?
No. Inspiration photos, a favorite gemstone, a general aesthetic and a budget are enough to begin the conversation.
Can you make a matching wedding band?
Yes. Curved, chevron, nesting, crown and other companion-band directions can be incorporated so the rings are designed to work together.
Can I choose an unusual gemstone?
Yes. Kherish regularly works with alternative colored gemstones, including Moss Agate, Alexandrite, Opal, Sapphire, Emerald, Garnet, Morganite, Moonstone, Onyx, Quartz and other available stones.
Will I approve the design before production?
Yes. The design direction is reviewed before production begins.
Can I request a ring inspired by another piece?
Inspiration can absolutely be used to communicate the style, proportions or features you like. The goal is to create your own Kherish design rather than simply copy another maker's work.
Can I send inspiration photos?
Yes. Images are extremely helpful for communicating setting style, colors, stone shapes, band details and the overall feeling you want.
What if I have a firm deadline?
Include the date in your initial request. Custom work requires additional production time, so a deadline should be discussed before the commission is accepted.
Are custom gemstones ethically sourced?
Kherish selects gemstone suppliers with ethical sourcing, working conditions, material quality and supplier history considered as part of the sourcing process.
What happens after I submit the form?
Your request is reviewed so the team can understand the design, material direction, budget and timeline. The next step is discussing what is practical, refining the concept and establishing pricing before production begins.
